In one sentence: the money is yours, from the first second to the last. Liquix arranges your transaction, but never holds your money and never controls your wallet. Below is what that means in practice — and also what is not under our control.

When you use Liquix, your digital balance goes straight to your own wallet. It does not pass through a Liquix account, it is not parked with us, and it is not pooled with anyone else.
Liquix cannot move, spend, freeze or withdraw what is in your wallet. We are not a bank and we do not hold customer funds (we are not a custodian).
To be honest about what we can see: our system can READ your balance in order to display it on screen — that is how the wallet works today. What it does not have is the signing key, which stays with you alone. That is why the guarantee is not that we cannot see it, but that we cannot spend it — which is the guarantee that actually protects your money.
The digital balance you receive aims to keep 1:1 parity with the Brazilian real. Issuance, maintenance of that parity and redemption are the responsibility of the issuing institution and follow its rules — Liquix does not issue this asset and does not guarantee redemption on its own account.
Your wallet is protected by keys that only you hold. Liquix never sees, never stores and can never recover those keys.
That is what gives you full control — and it also means that safekeeping your keys and your password is your responsibility. If you lose your wallet keys, Liquix has no way to restore access, because we never had them.
Transfers signed with your keys are final and cannot be reversed. There is no refund, no cancellation and no chargeback once a transfer is sent.
So: check the address before sending, and respect the deadlines shown on screen. A wrong address, or a payment sent after the deadline, can mean total loss of the amount, with no way to recover it — neither by Liquix nor by the partner institution.
The movement of money (the incoming Pix and the outgoing Pix) and the issuance of the digital balance are carried out by an authorised partner institution. That institution moves the funds — Liquix only arranges your request and connects the parties.
In other words, Liquix is not in the path of your money. We do not receive it, do not hold it and do not pass it on.
This part matters and we would rather say it plainly: Liquix does not block your balance — but the issuing institution can.
Under its own rules, it may block, freeze or withhold amounts linked to prohibited use (for example: money laundering, terrorism financing, tax evasion, sanctions evasion, false information, or multiple unauthorised accounts).
It may also require identity verification at any time, even after you have started using the service. If verification is refused, the service may be suspended and amounts withheld.
Liquix has no power to reverse those decisions, because Liquix neither issues nor custodies the asset.
To open an account we ask only for what is needed to operate within the law: name, e-mail, CPF (the Brazilian taxpayer number) and WhatsApp. Your CPF is not stored in plain text in our systems.
By using the service you authorise the sharing of your identification data and transaction information with the partner institution, with the providers required to carry out the transaction, and with the competent authorities where the law requires it — including the exchange of tax information between countries, where applicable. This is a condition for the service to operate lawfully.
We do not sell your data.
You agree to use the service for lawful purposes only. The following are expressly prohibited: money laundering or concealment of assets, terrorism financing, tax evasion, sanctions evasion, providing false information, and creating multiple accounts without authorisation.
Liquix may refuse, pause or limit transactions where there is suspicion of fraud, misuse, or a legal requirement to do so. There are per-transaction and daily limits, which may change according to the law and to the verification status of your account.
In addition to these terms, the terms of use of the institution that issues the digital balance also apply, and you accept them by using the service. In case of conflict regarding issuance, maintenance or redemption of the asset, the rules of the issuer prevail — Liquix cannot change them.
The wallet is created on your own device. When you create it, you understand and agree to the points below — they follow from the money being genuinely yours:
Liquix works to keep the service running well, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability — the network, the banks and the partner institution are outside our control. Because the money always sits in your own wallet, an outage on our side does not affect what is already yours.
Liquix is not liable for: losses caused by careless safekeeping of your keys or password; a wallet address typed incorrectly; payment sent after the deadline; misuse of your account by third parties you gave access to; changes in value; and decisions to block, withhold or redeem taken by the issuing institution.
