1. What data we collect

To open an account: name, e-mail, CPF (the Brazilian taxpayer number) and WhatsApp. This is the minimum Brazilian law requires in order to operate.

When you transact: the amount, date and status of your transactions, and the wallet address you registered.

Automatically: internet address (IP), device type and browser — used for security (detecting fraud and unauthorised access).

What we do NOT collect: your wallet key and your password in plain text. The key never leaves your device, and the password is stored in a form that not even we can read.

2. How we protect your CPF

Your CPF is not stored in plain text in our systems. It is sent encrypted to the partner institution that needs it under a legal obligation, and what remains here is an irreversible fingerprint — a code that lets us check for duplicates, but from which the number cannot be reconstructed.

3. What we use it for

We use your data only to:

  • run the service you asked for (convert, send, show your statement);
  • comply with legal obligations and with fraud and money laundering prevention duties;
  • protect your account (alerting you about access and security changes);
  • talk to you about your transaction and provide support.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share what is necessary, and only with those the transaction requires:

  • the authorised partner institution that executes the payment and issues the digital balance — it requires your identification as a regulatory obligation;
  • technology providers needed for the service to run (hosting, message delivery);
  • competent authorities, upon a valid legal request — including the exchange of tax information between countries, where applicable.

By using the service, you authorise this sharing. Without it, the transaction cannot happen lawfully.

5. How long we keep it

We keep the data for as long as your account exists and, after that, for the period the law requires for financial and anti-money-laundering records — which today is at least 5 years. Closing the account does not erase what the law requires us to keep.

6. Your rights (LGPD)

At any time, you may request:

  • confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
  • correction of incomplete or incorrect data;
  • information about who we share it with;
  • deletion of data we are not legally required to keep;
  • portability, under the terms of the law.

To exercise these rights, write to suporte@liquix.tech. We reply within the legal deadline.

7. Cookies

We use the minimum needed for the site to work and to keep you securely signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser — some parts of the site may stop working.
